Devoted Vets is a well-established and progressive mixed practice veterinary clinic offering general veterinary services for patients in the Gippsland region. Our clinic has been serving the community and surrounding areas for many years, establishing a reputation for compassionate and professional veterinary care.

Our clinic is located in Warragul in Victoria. We offer comprehensive small animal veterinary care as well as mixed animal services such as herd health.

About the Position:

We are looking for a full time, experienced veterinary nurse to complement our team.

We want a passionate all-rounder to implement their high standards of patient care and have the capability to fulfill surgery, hospital, pathology, treatment, floating and reception shifts. There is also the opportunity for a nurse who has an interest in mixed animal medicine to assist with the large animal work.

This is a hands-on nursing role for an experienced nurse; you will need to have the skill set and confidence to place IV catheters, set up fluids, monitor anesthetics to a high standard, perform nurse consults and love all things nursing (and cute clinic cats!

What you’ll need to succeed:  

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Technician Degree
  • 2+ years' experience in a busy practice. Well-rounded nursing skills 
  • Commitment to promoting a positive workplace culture and continuing to improve and grow our clinic.
  • A caring and positive ‘can do’ attitude!
