Looking for a casual driver to join our Apiam Logistics Services to provide delivery services for our industry leading animal health organisation.

Apiam is a fast paced, exciting and rapidly expanding company in the animal health industry.

We have two logistics services located around Australia and Apiam Animal health provides integrated veterinary services, warehousing and logistics services to its clients.  

We are seeking a casual Driver in our Toowoomba location for approximately 20- 30 hours a week. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy and friendly environment!  

This new position will be needed to cover 2-3 shifts per week with the option to increase.  

You will have a passion for the road transport industry, meeting deadlines and providing quality customer service.  

The role: 

• Casual Position  
• 2-3 shifts per week with the option to increase 
• Some early starts required (5.30am)  
• Shift run to a maximum of 12 hours 
• Some interstate shifts require an overnight stay in NSW, allowances paid. 
• Immediate start

Requirements: 

• Current drivers’ license  
• Clean driving record 
• Experience in long distance transport   
• Forklift license preferred  
• Sat & Sun overnight shifts required 1 or 2 weekends per month 
• Availability to fill in and relieve other drivers if needed 

Duties will include, but are not limited to:  

• Accurately pick, pack, load and deliver products to customers in an efficient, effective and timely manner using the manifests supplied, reporting any discrepancies immediately. 
• Pick up stock from suppliers as requested. 
• Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to warehouse operations and transport & distribution duties. 
• Observe and comply with company and customer biosecurity requirements.
