Job Description

Are you a skilled recruiter ready to lead impactful hiring across a national veterinary network? Join Apiam, an animal health company supporting regional and rural communities across Australia.

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Recruitment Manager to manage end-to-end hiring across our network of clinics and support teams.

This is a dynamic, on-site role based in Bendigo—ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

About the position:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for veterinary and support roles across Apiam clinics and business units.
  • Partner with clinic and business unit managers to understand their needs and source and shortlist the right talent.
  • Proactively source and approach candidates - especially for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Build strong relationships with Veterinary Schools and external partners to support future pipelines.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain a clean, organised candidate database.
  • Support clinics to recruit and onboard nurses and support staff.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in recruitment processes and tools.
  • Based in or near Bendigo- this role is on-site and not remote or hybrid.

About you:

  • Proven recruitment experience and a track record of creative, strategic sourcing.
  • Minimum 2+ years’ full-cycle recruitment experience (agency or internal).
  • Strong admin, coordination and communication skills.
  • A collaborative style and the ability to build trust with internal stakeholders.
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities and working independently.
  • An interest in the animal health sector or regional communities is a bonus.
  • A passion for helping people find meaningful roles and supporting regional communities.

Why join Apiam?

At Apiam, we’re more than just a veterinary network - we’re a community. You’ll be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that values innovation, relationships, and real-world impact. We offer:

  • Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)
  • The chance to make a difference in rural and regional veterinary healthcare
  • Real autonomy and scope to improve how we attract and hire
