Apiam is a fast paced, exciting and rapidly expanding company in the animal health industry. Located in Bendigo, Apiam Animal health provides integrated veterinary services, warehousing and logistics services to its clients.  

We are seeking a casual Driver in Bendigo for approximately 20 hours a week. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy and friendly environment!  

This new position will be needed to cover 2-3 shifts per week with the option to increase.  

You will have a passion for the road transport industry, meeting deadlines and providing quality customer service.  

The role: 

• Casual Position  
• 2-3 shifts per week with the option to increase 
• Some early starts required (5.30am)  
• Shifts run to a maximum of 12 hours 
• Some interstate shifts require an overnight stay in NSW and SA, allowances paid. 

Requirements: 

• Current drivers’ license  
• Clean driving record 
• Experience in long distance transport   
• Forklift license preferred  
• Sat & Sun overnight shifts required 1 or 2 weekends per month 
• Availability to fill in and relief other drivers if needed 
• Multi drop driver experience preferred

Duties will include, but are not limited to:  

• Accurately load and deliver products to customers in an efficient, effective and timely manner using the manifests supplied, reporting any discrepancies immediately. 
• Pick up stock from suppliers as requested. 
• Adhere to all policies and procedures relating to warehouse operations and transport & distribution duties. 
• Observe and comply with company and customer biosecurity requirements.
