Job Description

12-month fixed term leave cover position for a senior companion veterinarian.

Full-time position beginning in February 2025

About us:

Fur Life Vet Highton is a well-equipped and newly renovated clinic with access to all the up-to-date bells and whistles for you to practice great quality medicine.

We have a highly skilled team including nurses and designated receptionists to support you in your day and for those curve ball cases we have an excellent relationship with emergency and specialist centres close by so that you can provide the best care for your patients.

About the position:

  • No after hours or on call
  • Permanent hours meaning you will gain access to numerous benefits and have job security
  • Working in our Highton location this is a permanent full-time position for a senior veterinarian
  • This will be a 12-month fixed term contract beginning in February 2025
  • 4-day work week. To ensure our whole team has a work-life balance we have the occasional shared Saturday

About you:

  • An experienced vet to provide mentorship and clinical support
  • A confident and capable all-round general practice vet who is keen to provide veterinary services to a high standard
  • Someone with a positive and friendly attitude who will complement our team and lead by example

Salary and Benefits:

Competitive salary package with a base salary of $100,000 - $130,000 + (dependent on experience)
